How did curiosity help revolutionized the things we use? Provide examples.

Curiosity leads to creativity. Successful persons like Albert Einstein and Steve jobs are inquisitive people.
Their curiosity paved the way for their creative inventions which we are now using in our daily lives.
Entrepreneurs tend to have the character of being curious and for that reason, they are most likely the
people who create innovative and revolutionized products that we use nowadays. An example is the
modern technology that we have today. This technology is built and invented by certain individuals who
started their inventing their creations with curiosity. If it was not for these curios people, we would not
have the advanced and modern technology that we have right now. Another example are the electric
devices we use at home such as washing machines and refrigerators. These are invented by Alva John
Fisher and Jacob Perkins. Just like other famous inventors, they invented these electronic devices with
curiosity in their minds and end up with a successful creation. These electronic devices are what most
people use in their daily lives that provides convenience as well as making certain tasks easier.

According to the speaker, what are some ways in maximizing curiosity that were not mentioned during
the class discussion?

Another way to maximize curiosity is to step out of our comfort zone. When we of stepping out of our
comfort zone, we are like putting ourselves in a cage where we do not freedom to do anything that we
want. If we try to take risks and let go of the doubts in our heads, we can overcome our fears and
eventually learn from it. If we don’t feel comfortable with asking questions to other people, we lose the
opportunity to learn from them. Another way that can help in maximizing curiosity is to practice
reflection. Reflection makes a person think deeply about things which leads to better understanding
about the matter. If we take time to reflect on things, we think beyond the obvious or think outside the
box which leads to more and more things to be curious about, more questions to think, more answers to
find out, and of course, more ideas and lessons to learn.
