Ashley’s House

My name is Ashley and I live in Baltimore, Maryland in the United States. Today I am
going to tell you a little bit about my house. I live in a row home in Baltimore it is very colorful
with different color paints on the walls: yellow, red and blue and white; i love it so much. We
have a living room that has a Christmas tree right now for the holidays. We have a nice
kitchen and three bathrooms. My bedroom is on second floor, it has blue paint on the walls
and I have a full size bed. I also have a closet and a desk and a chair to sit in. we have a
basement in our house as well that my roommate lives in, that is her bedroom. I have two
roommates and it is great. They are good friends of mine. In our living room we have two
couches, a table, bookshelf and a TV. In our kitchen, we have a table, a refrigerator and a
dishwasher and a lot of shelves and a stove to cook on. We also have another room for
musical instruments; I have a piano and a cello. Our laundry room has both a washing
machine and a drying machine we also have an ironing board to iron clothes when they need
to be straightened out.

3- In pairs, describe your own house to your partner. Say what you like and what
you don´t.

4- Homework: Write an email to your English teacher about what you do when you
are in your own house. In addition, describe the part of it that you like the most
then send the email. See the example and the steps below.
