Flyswatter Game
Mechanics

The teacher will divide the learners into two teams.


One student from each team comes to the front of
the room facing the class, with their back to the
board. Each has a fly swatter. When I say a word,
they have to turn around, look over the words on
the board and touch the word I've said with the fly
swatter. The first one to touch the word gets a
point for their team.

Imperative Sentence
Imperative Sentence
- A group of sentences that gives a
command or request. It usually ends in period
sometimes in exclamation point.
Imperative Sentence

We also often use imperative form in


giving instructions or when someone tells you
what to do.
Command
-An imperative sentence which simply
tells the listener to do a certain thing.

Example:
Eat healthy foods.
Read your lessons and do your homework.
Request
-A request possesses a factor of more
respect to listener. It is commonly used to
command listener younger than the speaker.

Example:
Please, bring those books here.
Kindly pick up pieces of paper on the floor.
