I. Introduction:
- This assignment will demonstrate how, after evaluating the four categories of businesses in assignment
1, this chapter 2 will contain all types of businessmen: local entrepreneurs, overseas entrepreneurs, and
socially conscious entrepreneurs. The introduction and promotion of three businessmen is the first part
of this project. Second, it contains a discussion of how the originator views his own personality features.
The third factor is an entrepreneur's perception of the impact of personality traits on their business.

II. Body:
1. Specific examples of entrepreneurs to illustrate the scope of entrepreneurship covering one local
entrepreneur:
- Local Entrepreneurship: Dang Le Nguyen Vu is a Vietnamese businessman and the founder of Trung
Nguyen Coffee.

- International Entrepreneurship: Doan Nguyen Duc, also known as Bau Duc, is the chairman of Hoang
Anh - Gia Lai and was born on December 6, 1962. He was named one of the 30 most powerful
businessmen in Southeast Asia by the Wall Street Journal in 2011.

- Social Entrepreneurship: Ms. Mai Kieu Lien is the chairwoman of Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock
Company.

different skills that distinguish entrepreneurs and business managers.
+ Example 1:

- Dang Le Nguyen Vu (born 1971) is a Vietnamese businessman. He is the founder, chairman, and CEO of
the Trung Nguyen Group in Vietnam. By National Geographic Traveler and Forbes Asia, he was dubbed
"Vietnam Coffee King."

- Dang Le Nguyen Vu grew up in the coffee business and gradually elevated its importance from pure
commerce to coffee production, transforming Vietnam into a global coffee hotspot and eventually
becoming a religion in which Mr. Vu was taught and given the duty of "saving humanity." His wife, Le
Hoang Diep Thao, had him removed from the corporation. From 2015 through 2018, they battled for
control of the corporation.

=> Trung Nguyen:

-Mr.Vu and his family migrated to M'drak, a mountainous area in Dak Lak Province, Vietnam, in 1979.

- He began his studies at Central Highlands University's Faculty of Medicine in 1992. He began his
research and research activities in the realm of coffee during this time. Since then, his actions have been
inextricably linked to his love of coffee.

- Trung Nguyen Coffee Company was started in Buon Ma Thuot in 1996 by Dang Le Nguyen Vu and his
wife, Le Hoang Diep Thao.

- In 1998, Trung Nguyen Company built its first coffee shop in Ho Chi Minh City, expanding its business
through a franchise model, from which the Trung Nguyen brand cafes arose Nationwide.

- Franchise was popular in Japan and Singapore in 2001. Trung Nguyen gained customer appreciation
across the country when it announced its new slogan, "Find innovative creativity," for its outstanding
coffee, which is harvested from the highest quality coffee beans, using advanced technology and special
inimitable oriental recipes, and blended with deep coffee passion.

- Trung Nguyen Legend Cafe has 64 locations as of November 2018, placing it third in Vietnam behind
The Coffee House (133 locations) and Highlands Coffee (233 locations).

+ Example 2:

- Mai Kieu Lien (born 1953) is an entrepreneur who was born and raised in France. During the former
Soviet Union, she studied milk production in Moscow. After getting an engineering degree in 1976, she
returned to Vietnam with the purpose of dedicating her talent and youth to the Fatherland.

- Mai Kieu Lien, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company
(Vinamilk), became the first and only Vietnamese woman to be featured three times in Forbes magazine.
- (The most renowned and influential persons in the world, as voted by the world's biggest magazine -
PV) As one of Asia's 50 most powerful businesswomen, she has received the following honors: "Vinamilk
has been converted into one of Vietnam's leading firms thanks to this imaginative CEO." Vinamilk is not
just one of Vietnam's most well-known brands, but it is also well-known throughout Asia.

=> Vinamilk:

- With a market capitalization of nearly US$ 11 billion, Vinamilk shares, which were first listed in 2006,
are always among the stock market's "star" companies.

- Vinamilk's overall export turnover has been around 2 billion USD since 1997. (equivalent to about
45,520 billion VND). With a portfolio of more than 200 products, Vietnam's largest dairy company
currently controls 50% of the market.

- Vinamilk produced excellent results in 2018, with sales of VND 52.800 billion, over VND 4.200 billion
given to the state budget, and a brand value of about USD 2.3 billion. Vinamilk's market value has risen
to more than $11 billion, a 110-fold increase from 2006.

- Vinamilk presently operates a ten-farm system across Vietnam that adheres to the Global GAP
standard, with all breeding cows imported from Australia, the United States, and New Zealand. Over
120,000 cows provide milk to the company (including Vinamilk's farms and signed farmers), with an
average daily output of 950 tons of raw fresh milk. In 2020, the overall number of cows in the herd is
estimated to reach around 200,000, with raw milk output expected to more than double.

P6: Assessment of how aspects of the entrepreneurial personality reflect entrepreneurial motivation
and mindset.
Perseverance: Despite efforts in the restructuring process of Hoang Anh Gia Lai, the stock price of HAG
plummeted, and the company went through many ups and downs, the CEO of Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Mr.
Doan Nguyen Duc, did not give up football. According to financial statistics, the Bau Duc conglomerate
paid roughly VND 63 billion for the HAGL-JMG Football Academy by the end of September 2018, up
dramatically from VND 53.4 billion at the end of 2017.
Mr.Duc may have "hundreds of thousands of jobs," but his passion for football endures. Many bosses
have come and gone in Vietnamese football over the last two decades, but Bau Duc has remained a
constant contributor to the national team. Although at times he himself was harmed by trickery, or
prejudices, but after all, he vote has never let go.

Decisiveness: Mr. Bau Duc was elected after instructor Wenger was promoted, and he continued as a
football academy for 12 years, generous with public opinion and willing to spend a lot of money for the
players to learn and play professional football, despite the terrible outcomes the first time. Finally, the
long-term purpose of the Bau Duc election aids the success of Vietnamese football.

Seeing opportunities: The benefits of electing Bau Duc to represent Vietnamese football do not require
much explanation, as fans all throughout the country are aware. The thankfulness in the stands, or on
the day that the U22 Vietnam team won gold, many people brought banners to thank Bau Duc. But there
is a very... life story behind the grandeur of the Bau Duc election, a man who is usually busy at work but
has a wonderful affection for football. That is Vietnamese football's wonderful fortune in starting the
cycle of success under Park Hang Seo.

Orientation Towards Learning: When the owner of the HAGL club wakes up unusually early to start the
day at 5 a.m., there are days when a working day ends at 12 p.m., this narrative is most certainly
understood by Bau Duc subordinates. That's not to mention the fact that the proprietor of HAGL Club
travels as fast as... flying birds. Many people want to have fun and want Bau Duc to work "all day long
and turn off the light," but whomever says affluent doesn't know what they're talking about because
they don't have time to rest, let alone enjoy themselves.

Planning for future: Many clubs with early steady personnel are in the midst of a professional
preparation procedure, therefore the season should be physically better than V.League 2019. The next
season will begin in early February, as anticipated. Hoang Anh Gia Lai will be represented at the 2019
National Super Cup match between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

P7 Examine, using relevant examples, how background and experience can hinder or foster
entrepreneurship
+ Experience can hinder or foster entrepreneurship:
- Bill Gates is a co-founder of Microsoft, the world's largest PC software corporation, and an American
business entrepreneur and computer programmer. Gates has held a number of jobs at Microsoft since its
foundation in 1975, including president, CEO, and chief software architect.

- In 1975, Bill Gates and Paul Allen teamed up to form Microsoft (then known as Micro-Soft). They began
by adapting BASIC, a popular computer programming language. It was a success, and they went on to
create programming language software for a variety of platforms.

- International Business Machine (IBM) approached the team in 1980 with a proposition that Microsoft
build a BASIC interpreter for IBM's planned personal computer, the IBM PC. The PC DOS operating
system was produced by Microsoft and given to IBM for a one-time price of $50,000.

- Soon after, Microsoft's operating systems were extremely popular, and on November 20, 1985, the
company released Windows, a graphical operating system for MS-DOS. In the years that followed,
Windows dominated the global personal computer market, garnering more than 90% of the market
share. Bill Gates, the company's largest individual stakeholder, has accumulated a significant fortune as a
result of the company's tremendous financial success.

+ Background can hinder or foster entrepreneurship:

- Mr. Truong Gia Binh, a well-known Vietnamese businessman, was born in 1956. The FPT Brand has
been a part of his life and work.

- The unique aspect of this businessman is his unusual starting position. From the time he was overseas
until the day he returned to his homeland at the age of 26, his life and career were inextricably tied with
his studies and scientific study. Mr. Trinh Gia Binh began a series of business days in his 30s to develop
an FPT today. He was over 60 years old at the time, yet he was still giving motivational talks to young
people at business seminars.

- Looking back on his decades of life, Mr. Binh demonstrates that he has simply brought the "quality" of
the people of Engineering, of Research, and is a "typical intellectual" in the generation; he is also an
excellent strategist and ingenious businessman; accompanied by humility, not afraid to take a step back
to move forward, not afraid of difficulties to rise up, not only for themselves, for the company, but also
for the community.

III. Conclusion:
- We got the opportunity to revisit the study of company types: start-ups, SMEs, major companies, and
social enterprises after completing Entrepreneurship and Small Business. We researched these types of
businesses and unique industries in Assignment 1 with each form. With Assignment 2, we discover more
about the entrepreneur's personal narrative and how they achieve in business. Assignment 2 asks you to
describe the characteristics of an entrepreneur as well as the lessons learned from their
accomplishment.
