GRADE/SECTION: STEM 12-YA-3 ASSIGNMENT#2
1. WHO ARE ENTREPRENEURS?
An entrepreneur is someone who starts something new. An entrepreneur is a
pioneer, a risk-taker, and a motivator. Someone who starts something new,
whether it's a project, a business, or a corporation. He or she is the start (and, in
certain cases, the finish) of a business or project. The entrepreneur may not be
the one who comes up with the idea, but he or she is the one who decides to
make it a reality.
The driver is an entrepreneur. The entrepreneur is the boss, the leader, and the
person to look to for guidance. He or she is the one who drives the team forward
and inspires them to do the same. The entrepreneur is the one in the driver's
seat, with the power to change course, speed up, slow down, or even stop a
business enterprise.
An entrepreneur is a person who is accountable and responsible for his or her
actions. The entrepreneur is ultimately responsible for the success of his or her
initiative, which can be a business, a project, or anything else. Because the
entrepreneur is the one with the most invested in the enterprise, he or she must
be given complete control over it.
2. Start a list of people that you think are entrepreneurs and add to it as you go
through these activities.
2.1. Name of Entrepreneur
1.1 Jeff Bezon (Jeffrey Preston Bezon)

1.2 Bill Gates (William Henry Gates)

1.3 Mark Zuckerberg

1.4 Larry Page (Lawrence Edward Page)

and Sergey Brin (Sergey Mikhailovich Brin)

1.5 Steeve Jobs (Steven Paul Jobs)

2.2. What they did

2.1 Amazon founder Jeff Bezos had a vision for the company's spectacular
expansion and ecommerce dominance when it debuted in 1995 as a website that
exclusively sold books. He understood he intended Amazon to be "an everything
store" from the beginning. Jeff launched Amazon.com, named after a
meandering South American river, and within 30 days he had sold books across
the United States and 45 other nations. Later, he began providing CDs, films,
clothing, electronics, toys, and other items. Now, Amazon is the largest e-retailer
in the United States, with recent net sales of about 280 billion dollars. Even in
emerging countries such as India, Amazon is thriving and competing with
eCommerce behemoths such as Flipkart (even dominating in few areas).
2.2 Bill Gates contributed to the development of MS-DOS, which subsequently
evolved into the Windows operating system, which is used in Windows 98, 99,
ME, 2000, and XP. Gary Kildall created the operating system that is still widely
used in computers today, and for which Bill Gates is frequently mistakenly
credited. With Paul Allen, Bill Gates co-founded Microsoft, a software company.
Gates held the titles of CEO and Chief Software Architect at Microsoft during his
time there. With 6.4 percent of the ordinary stock, he is the largest individual
shareholder.
2.3 He is the chairman, chief executive officer, and controlling shareholder of
Facebook, Inc., which he co-founded. He is also a board member of
Breakthrough Starshot, a solar sail spacecraft development initiative. Few people
are unfamiliar with Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of the highly renowned social
networking platform Facebook.
2.4 Google, the Internet search engine, was founded by Larry Page and Sergey
Brin. Google has been one of the most successful dot-com firms in history since
its foundation in 1998. Page and Brin were both hesitant entrepreneurs who were
determined to growing their business on their own terms, rather than those
prescribed by the dominant business culture.
Google's success can be attributed to two factors: it met the needs of searchers
(by providing the best possible results) and it became a synonym for the word
"search" for the majority of people. Find techniques to advertise your items so
that they reach a larger audience if you want to flourish as an entrepreneur.
2.5 Steve Jobs was the chairman, CEO, and co-founder of Apple Inc, which is
currently valued at over $2 trillion dollars and is one of the Big Four of
technology, with Amazon, Google, and Facebook. Pixar is an American computer
animation film studio that was created in 1986. He is also the chairman and
largest shareholder of it.
2.3. Who benefits?
3.1 Amazon provides a variety of excellent benefits to employees and their
qualifying family members, including domestic partners and children. These
comprehensive benefits begin on the first day of employment and include health
insurance, parental leave, retirement planning, and other resources to support
health and well-being.
3.2 Most businesses and more than 1.2 billion people use it. To put this in
perspective, Microsoft Office 365 is used by over 20% of the global population.
It's impossible for such many people to be mistaken. According to recent figures,
the share of businesses with at least 100 users jumped from 87 to 91 percent,
and enterprise usage increased by more than 320 percent. These figures
demonstrate how Microsoft has effectively reimagined Office as a cloud-based
product that can be used from any location.
3.3 Anyone can use Facebook to keep a positive relationship with those who
share similar preferences or products. This is critical because, as a business, you
may sell or promote a product or service to a highly targeted audience, boosting
your chances of making money online.
3.4 They build it for everyone. They work hard to give Googlers and their families
a world-class benefits experience that supports their physical, financial, and
emotional well-being. Our benefits are data-driven and focused on our users:
Google employees and their families. They're intelligently created to improve
your health and wellbeing, and they're generous enough to make taking care of
yourself a breeze (now, and in the future). So that we can work together to
establish a better future for everyone.
3.5 Mobile technology has been at the fingers of Gen Z and Millennials their
entire lives. Most people don't have landlines or cameras other than the ones on
their phones. Major smartphone manufacturers are fighting for their customers'
loyalty, as they represent over half of the population and most of the consumer
spending.
