1. Could cannabis help us treat HIV?
Conclusion: Because there is no cure for HIV, despite antiretroviral therapy's suppression
of HIV replication, a residual HIV reservoir and inflammation persist, leading to
increased morbidity and mortality. We believe that cannabis' anti-inflammatory
properties will reduce inflammation and thus the latent HIV reservoir. As a result, we
propose a cutting-edge translational approach to HIV-infected humans who use cannabis,
ex vivo mechanistic studies, and cannabinoid treatment in non-human primates in this
paper.

2. MEAL AND MEMORY STUDY
Conclusion: In this study, healthy older adults with and without the APOE E4 genotype
will have their cognitive and biomarker responses to HIGH and LOW meals measured.
After an overnight fast, the subjects will eat the meal, which will be followed by
cognitive testing, spinal fluid collection, and blood collection. The HIGH meal will be a
meal high in saturated fat and high glycemic index foods vs. LOW meal which will be
low in saturated fat and low glycemic index foods.

3. Menstrual Symptom Tracking to Understand and Assess Women Living With Cystic
Fibrosis
Conclusion: This study demonstrates that the relationship between CF symptom trends
and the menstrual cycle is still poorly understood. This study will investigate changes in
CF-specific symptoms among women with CF to see if and how they correlate with their
menstrual cycle, in order to close this gap. The researchers want to see if CF-related
symptoms change throughout the menstrual cycle, how those symptoms affect quality of
life, and if using a period tracking app to track CF-related symptoms throughout the
menstrual cycle is feasible.
