Direction: Write your explanation in your activity sheet.
1. Explain in your own words what a “NEED” is. Try to explain this based from
your own experience.
I personally think that “needs” is a basic necessities like foods, shelter, cloths, and
water to live and survive every day. There was a time that I’m late to take my lunch.
It feels like I’m dying due to empty stomach. That’s why needs are essential. Foods
are needs, that’s why foods are essential.
 Give at least 3 products that you want to have and explain why you want to
have them.
Laptop – I want new laptop that has a better specification for productivity.
Accounting books – I want an accounting book rather than having a soft copy of
accounting lessons. For me, it is moe convenient to read and use than digital copy
of accounting books.
Windbreaker jacket – This product I want will give me more sweat when I’m jogging
every day.

Needs is a state of felt deprivation of some basic satisfaction. Wants are the
desires. Demands are wants that you willing to buy.

Yes, consumer demand is the willingness to buy a product or service based
on their desire.
