A Disciplined Mind August 30, 2020

A person with a disciplined mind is one with a rational mind who does things based on the reason of faith, as opposed
to emotions and human natural view.

Ang disciplined mind ay may control, may parameters. Ayon sa Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is
true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is
excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

Your mind is what you become. Ang tamang isip ay dadalhin tayo sa tamang buhay, sa spiritual at physical na buhay.
Ang maling isip ay dadalhin tayo sa kahirapan, sa bigat ng buhay, kabiguan, kalituhan, walang direksyon, paikot ikot na
buhay, sa pamumuhay dito sa lupa at doon sa wilderness, malayo sa promise na buhay ng Lord: masaganang buhay. Ang
ating disiplinadong isip ay magdadala sa atin sa tagumpay, kasaganaan, kapayapaan, kagalakan, fulfilled life.

Conclusion
1. Have a disciplined mind..a disciplined mind just like Abraham. “By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac
as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had
said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” Abraham reasoned that God could even raise
the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.” Hebrews 11:17-19 NIV
2. The disciplined mind has one focus, as a new creation in Christ: to follow the example of Christ “Follow my example,
as I follow the example of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1 NIV
3. The disciplined mind is always renewed toward the mind of Christ ( Rom.12:2, 2 Cor 3:17-18).
4. The disciplined mind lives for Christ and the vision of multitude. We follow Paul’s motto: “For to me, to live is Christ
and to die is gain.”(Philippians 1:21 NIV)
