The company decided to drop "the" from its name in 2005, after it bought the domain Facebook.com for
$200,000.
the Facebook profile was the heart of the social-networking experience, but Groups were also a big part
of the early site. News Feed had yet to come into existence.
The site expands to high school networks. It also drops the "the" to become just "Facebook."

Facebook will be limiting you to 8 conversion events per domain. This includes pixel events such as
conversions and page views and custom conversions.
And if you have ads optimized for events that are not one of the top 8,
they will be paused.
