I chose this activity because I felt it would be beneficial for any disability group, especially wheelchair users as well. This activity can be done little to no physical movement. The goal of the first word phrase we used was “Yes and” and the reason I choose this was because I felt as it would be a great warmup starter to show what Improv is. It required little movement to none to be able to introduce the activity to ones who have might not done improv before. Then the second phrase goal was to help make the participants more comfortable with it. For my research adaptation I used Skit which is an organization for intellectual and developmental disabilities using improvis as a fun leisure activity for children to adults wanting to help build their communication skills collaboration, listening and social skills. Each of their activities uses different types of improvisation using social communication skills throughout the session.
