Schematic- is a diagram of a circuit that uses symbols to represent circuit components and lines to show the connections
between components.

Block- A block diagram is a diagram of a system in which the principal parts or functions are represented
by blocks connected by lines that show the relationships of the blocks. They are heavily used in engineering in hardware
design, electronic design, software design, and process flow diagrams.

Pictorial- It shows a picture or sketch of the various components of a specific system and the wiring between these
components.

Conductor and Insulator- In a conductor, electric current can flow freely, in an insulator it cannot. Metals such as copper
typify conductors, while most non-metallic solids are said to be good insulators, having extremely high resistance to the
flow of charge through them. ... Most atoms hold on to their electrons tightly and are insulators.

Examples of Conductors -Silver, Gold, Copper, Aluminum, Mercury, Steel, Iron, Seawater

Examples of Insulators- Rubber, Glass, Pure water, Oil, Air, Diamond, Dry wood, Dry cotton, Plastic, Asphalt

Joints and Splices- When working with electronic equipment or with electrical wiring, it may from time to time become
necessary to splice or join wires together. Splices and joints are essentially the same thing. A splice joint is a method of
joining two members end to end in woodworking.

Breadboard- is a solderless device for temporary prototype with electronics and test circuit designs. Most electronic
components in electronic circuits can be interconnected by inserting their leads or terminals into the holes and then
making connections through wires where appropriate.

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) – a printed circuit board is a non-conductive material with conductive lines on it, onto
which electronic components can be mounted and connected by traces to form a working circuit or assembly.

Foil Pattern Lay-outing- is a process of making lay-outs or designs drawn in the PCB which is composed of copper foils,
whereas those copper foils will take structure or mold into the PCB lay-out design made.

Etching- Electro etching is a metal etching process that involves the use of a solution of an electrolyte, an anode, and a
cathode. The metal piece to be etched is connected to the positive pole of a source of direct electric current.

Boring- is a process of drilling small holes in the PCB where the terminals of the components are inserted and soldered.

Component Mounting- Surface-mount technology (SMT) is a method in which the electrical

components are mounted directly onto the surface of a printed circuit board (PCB).

Soldering Iron- A soldering iron is a hand tool used in soldering. It supplies heat to melt solder so that it can flow into the
joint between two workpieces. A soldering iron is composed of a heated metal tip and an insulated handle.

Desoldering Pump- A desoldering pump, colloquially known as a solder sucker, is a manually-operated device which is
used to remove solder from a printed circuit board.
