6 thematic units will be covered with 12 reading
comprehension activites and 12 language focus areas.
We will also address phrasal verbs in medical contexts.

You will prepare a short individual presentation

based on a TED talk. In class we, will …
– watch the TED talks and hear our classmates’
presentations

– discuss topics addressed in the TED talks

The practical exam is worth 25% of the final mark

(The individual presentation is worth 15%)

Para superar la asignatura es necesario:
a) haber realizado las prácticas de aula;
b) Obtener una nota mínima del 60% (3,6) en el examen escrito final, obtener al menos el 40%
en las otras partes, y que la suma de todas las partes de la evaluación sea mayor o igual a 5.
NORMAS REGULADORAS DE LOS PROCESOS DE
EVALUACIÓN EN LA UC
Las siguientes acciones, sin constituir una lista exhaustiva, llevarán a la
consideración de realización fraudulenta de pruebas o actividades de
evaluación:
• Copiar de otros estudiantes en exámenes.
• Utilización de apuntes, libros o materiales no autorizados explícitamente
en las pruebas.
• Comunicarse, con cualquier medio, con otras personas, salvo los
profesores responsables de la supervisión, durante la realización de los
exámenes.
• Atribuirse la realización de trabajos ajenos.
• Intento de suplantación de la identidad del estudiante.
La realización fraudulenta de las pruebas o actividades de evaluación
supondrá directamente la calificación de suspenso "0" en la asignatura.
