Ancient Civilization

Has it ever been a thought to wonder the impact Indian tribes

have left the current society? Those tribes were also influential

to the people of their time, leaving impacts on their societies

back then. Their agriculture techniques improved the growth of

crops. The tribes were also skilled in craftsmanship and how

things were developed. That’s just the beginning of the amazing

ways these Indian tribes left influences.

Firstly, the way the Aztecs and Incas created new agriculture

techniques to enhance the growth of crops. In Source 2 it says

“They farmed special plots of land called chinampas (also known

as “floating gardens”) raised areas of land in the lake.” Which

was a technique used to increase food production, and it was

successful. In Source 3 it says “The Inca were farmers, growing

potatoes as well as other crops, often in terraces cut into the

high mountainsides. That gives them access to more shallow soil

which helped enable the irrigation of crops. This affected the

past and the present, other people of their time would see this

improvement and use it to their advantage. Farmers of modern time

can use their ideas and test them out till they find the perfect

solution.

Also, the tribes were very skilled in developing things. In

Source 2 it says “they wove cotton cloth, made pottery, carved in

stone and other materials, made musical instruments and elaborate

costumes of feathers”. The Aztecs were very creative when it came

to their culture by making musical instruments and costumes made

out of feathers. In Source 3 it says “They were also skilled

craftsmen, building impressive cities of stone, weaving exquisite

woolen cloth, and making pottery, jewelry, and many other useful

and ornamental objects. Incas were good at making impressive

cities which they would use to expand their societies. People of

their time would see these crafts and slowly bring it to their

culture.

In conclusion, without these tribes putting in their hard

work to develop these creations, there could be a possibility

that these things would never have been discovered. From their

different ways of agriculture to their craftsmanship, all of it

left influences on society. Imagine what life would be like if

there were never any influences to grow on.
