TITLE: Introduction in Greek Mythology

1. Who were the best writers, the Greeks or the Romans? Why? (5 pts.)
The Greeks, because Greek literature not only affected its Roman
neighbors in the West, but also affected countless generations across the
European continent. Greek writers are responsible for introducing genres such
as poetry, tragedy, comedy, and Western philosophy into the world. These
Greek writers were not only born in the land of their native Greece, but also in
Asia Minor. The Greeks are a passionate people, and this passion can be seen
in their literary works. They have a rich history of war and peace, and they
have left an indelible mark on the culture and people.

2. If you were to be a Greek god or goddess, who would you be and why? (5 pts.)
Aphrodite. The most beautiful goddess. The goddess of love, beauty,
happiness and birth. I want to know what it feels like to control love? Become
love? I know that as a person, it can be a roller coaster or a hurricane. It can be
helpful , It can be devastating. It can be true or false. But to make people
happy is what I do. I can’t do it now, but as Aphrodite, I can. But I can also
ruin my life. I want to do this. I really do. People ruin mine. As Aphrodite, I
can do it. I can repay people for what they deserve. People who have been
there? I can let They are happy, let them grow old with the one they love. The
one who bullies me? Suffer. I will make them suffer. It's terrible.

3. Who was Cronus, and why was he significant? (5 pts.)

Cronus is probably the most famous of the Titans because he is the
king and leader of his brothers fighting Uranus and ultimately the Olympian
gods. He was born on Uranus and Gaia, the most cunning, youngest, and
perhaps the most powerful of their descendants.

4. What were the next six creations, in order? (6 pts.)

The next six creations in order were Mother Earth, Father Heaven,
Cyclops, 100-handed men, Titans, and gods.

5. According to Milton, what existed first the universe according to the ancient
Greeks? (2 pts)
At first, the universe was invisible. This is nothing. There is matter, but
it is unorganized, invisible, mixed and dark. This is called chaos. After the
chaos, more gods or spirits came into being.
