Step by step preparation of cooking Guava leaves to relieve
symptoms of certain sickness.
I picked those leaves with
no disease and discoloration
and put it in the clay pot.
Wash them with water
individually to make sure it is
well cleaned and no presence
of worm.
Use clean container to set
aside the leaves.
I put 350 mL of water into
the pot and let it boil.
Let it cook for 15 minutes.
Don not cover the pot.
Sometimes, the leaves might
rise, use ladle to bring it
down.
Remove the guava leaves
and let the liquid stay and
cool.
After the juice had cool
down, get a container and
pour it in there.
This can be use for washing
wounds (like circumcision
and incisions) diarrhea and
toothache.
For treating wounds, use it to
wash the affected body part
twice a day.
For diarrhea, drink the juice
3 to 4 times a day.
For relieving toothache, use
it as gargle.
