Activity 1: From the metaphor identify 5 personal qualities of

a teacher and few indicators to be manifested by a


teacher

1. Has thorough knowledge of the subject, wether by


scholarship or personal research.
2. Is able to use methapors and starts to interpret complex
ideas into simple ones and make learning more meaningful.
3. Often works through ideas struggling for expression rather
than simply presenting preformulated ones.
4. Maintain s a certain relationship with students that is not
affection but rather, a respect that has a personal element.
5. Is intellectually challenging and rigorous.
Activity 2: The following are desirable personal characteristics
of a teacher. Choose five to rationalized based on observations
and experience that such was modeled by your teacher in
your basic education years

Personal Qualities
Good Personality, Honest, Enthusiastic, Caring, Role, Model, Fair
friendly, Respectful, Dedicated, Creative, Flexibility, Attitude of
Professional Teachers empathy towards students, commitment
and dedication to the profession, reflective practitioner passion
for teaching, Wellness, combination of physical health, good
attitude and increased productivity.

Good Personality: When I was in grade school there is a


teacher I love the most, I love her because of her because of
her good personality as a teacher. She is always wearing a smile
on her face and she have the ability to make good relationship
to her students
Caring: Most of my highschool teachers are so
caring of their students, they always see to it
that we as their students are in good situation
inside the classroom.

Fair Friendly: All student desires to have a fair


friendly teacher, those teacher they can call them
as a good friend. Today as a college i am
experiencing this kind of a teacher's personality
because all of the teacher in my present school
they are all fair friendly teachers

Creative: A creative teacher is very desirable to


his/her students. Being a creative teacher it make
his/her teaching in a unique way. For me as a
students i give credit to tose teachers that are so
creative in teaching because tey imparts knowledge
in their students in a creative way.

Dedicated: The very important quality of a teacher


is being dedicated to what he/she is teaching
because it shows a great love to teach and to
his/her stundents that the dedires of their hearts
is for thier students to learn and to earn
knowledge on what they are teahing to them.. As a
student i give credits to all of my teachers
starting from my daycare up to my highschool
teachers because of their dedication of teaching i
am now making my studies at my present college year
and making also my dream to be like them as a
teacher someday.

responded to celebrate nutrition month
authentically and teacher Z was assigned to head
the said Program. Each class was to select 5
students to demonstrate cooking by providing health
benefits and nutritional value of their menu in
partner of their parents. This is involvement in
the educative process.
