By the target of Government to vaccinate 90% of students and teachers against the coronavirus disease
2019 (Covid-19) by the end of November. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the government is preparing
to ensure safe learning by gradually reopening face-to-face classes for students. Other than that vaccine
hesitancy is caused by concerns about the vaccine's safety and efficacy, as well as adverse reactions.(4)
According to Deborah Fuller, PhD “The combination of vaccination and masking—especially in
crowded or indoor areas with higher COVID-19 transmission—likely provides the best defense
from breakthrough infections. In addition, if you receive the Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccine,
make sure you get both doses and between doses, mask up. With only the first dose of mRNA
vaccines, efficacy against the Delta variant is much lower than against previous variants, and
you really need that second dose to reach the levels of immunity that will provide you with
sustained protection.” Mandatory vaccination spreads the risks and burdens of herd immunity
across the population. We should all work together to achieve herd immunity for the benefit of
society as a whole. (Alberto Giubilini2020)
