What do you think is the impact of urbanization and the rise of global city on the agricultural
sector?

Answer: Urbanization and the rise of global cities have a direct and really serious impact to the
agricultural sector. Although urbanization has a good impact too, such as, it can be a great source of
machinery or any other materials especially to farming, but the negative impact are just too many. Like
the process of urbanization can result in substantial land conversion, which it lead to a drastic decrease
in crop production areas and changed the agricultural landscape. These are also the impact of
urbanization, farmlands was turned into urban lands, farmers lost farm to tilt and it can result in the loss
of the source of income, a possible food shortage if farmland are continuously change to urban lands,
and there will be have a lesser production of agricultural corps.
