    Re: Request for the refund of tuition fees

    Dear Ms. Parkinsons:

    I am writing this letter to request a refund of my fees of $ 200 for the one-year Certificate III
    Hairdressing course that I have applied at Bankstown TAFE.

    It can be recalled that I have sent you a letter expressing my interest for the said course. Owing to
    financial issues, I am not able to continue my studies for the time being. I have decided to take a break
    from my studies and find a work to support my family. Luckily, I have found a job as an assistant
    hairdresser in one of the salons here in New South Wales.

    According to the refund policies of this college, a full refund will be granted if the student withdraws
    from the course within two weeks before the beginning of the semester. As you can see in my enclosed
    registration form, I am within that limit.

    I am running short of money because of my job application. I hope that you grant my request as I am not
    going to attend this semester.

    Thank you as I anticipate your favorable response.
