 System Purpose and Scope
1. SYSTEM PURPOSE

1.1 This O & M Manual is to describe the step by step procedure of operational and
Maintenance of AGSS system is carried out for Sheikh Khalifa Central Hospital project.
1.2 The purpose of this procedure is to provide a step by step of procedure of operation and
Maintenance of AGSS system through the guidelines contained herein so as to ensure
that job execution complies with the project requirements and serves the intended
function to satisfactory level.

2. SCOPE OF WORK

1. This O and M Manual covers the procedure of Operation and Maintenance for AGSS
System for Sheikh Khalifa Central Hospital project.
2. This is to be enhanced and developed by the Al Mazroui Medical & chemical supplies
with the help of O&M manual provided by Beacon Medeas.

3. This procedure will be adopted from the AGSS system O and M manual on this project.

All Operation and Maintenance of AGSS system will be carried out by Al Mazroui
Medical& chemical supplies.
 Description
Anesthetic gas scavenging system (AGSS) plants are designed to provide a safe working environment for
the clinical staff by the removal of the waste gases that are produced during anesthesia and from
the surrounding environment.
