QUESTION 1
To what extent is the study of Comparative Education to all professional teachers not a
wastage of Time?

QUESTION 2
Describe the various approaches used in the study of Comparative Education and how all
sited approaches are relevant in the teaching profession.

QUESTION 3
“The Geographical factors influence educational systems and processes in your country”.
Discuss.

QUESTION 4
Using your knowledge of the study of education system of Japan, or England or United States
of America; suggest with reasons what the Uganda Education system can “borrow” from
these countries to improve its education system so it prepares learners with the tools that
allow learners to use and apply knowledge and become productive.

QUESTION 5
Since Uganda is a member of East African community Integration among other East African
Countries. Identify and explain the similarities and differences between the education systems
of either Uganda and Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda or Uganda and Tanzania. As an education
officer what could be some of the challenges being met in their education systems and how
can such challenges met be resolved amicably

Uganda has had many education reforms and Innovations in primary, secondary, vocational,
tertiary and university education. These reforms have remembrances to the institutions and
organizations that promoted and funded. Discuss the dangers of wholesale adoption and
importation (borrowing) of either American or British educational practices through
educational reforms of your country’s education system. Use examples from the reforms
discussed in your study of Comparative Education

The Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) has globally immensely impacted on every sector,
country and way of life.
a. Examine the effects of COVID-19 to the education system in Uganda as a whole and
to teachers in particular
b. What lessons have you learned as prospective teacher from the effects of COVID-19
