Deventer Horse Spectacle

Role student

You and your group are going to organize an event that was also organized by
Saxion students last year: the Deventer Horse Spectacle. The client has meetings
with various agencies (3 in total) and will determine with which event agency he/
she will work after the meetings and receipt of the quotation.

You have already spoken with your SaxEvents supervisor and several things have
become clear to you. You know it is a major event. The client has been instructed by
the board of the Horse Association to promote the sport and to raise money for a
good cause.

The client wants a different approach for this year than previous years and is
looking for an event agency that can take care of the publicity prior to the event and
a charity dinner for a good cause.

Today you have a conversation with Mr./Mrs. Riant. He/she is your client. It is a first
meeting with him/her, in which you discuss the assignment and get the best
possible picture of his/her expectations and wishes.

Apeldoorn Dragon Boat Festival

Role student

You and your group are going to organize an event that was also organized by
Saxion students last year: the Apeldoorn Dragon Boat Festival. The client has
meetings with various agencies (3 in total) and will determine with which event
agency he/she will work after the meetings and receipt of the quotation.

You have already spoken with your SaxEvents supervisor and several things have
become clear to you. You know it is a major event. The client has been instructed by
the board of the Dragon Boat Festival to increase the number of participating teams
and to involve schools in the festival.

The client wants a different approach for this year than previous years and is
looking for an event agency that can take care of the publicity prior to the event and
the organization of a school competition.

Today you have a conversation with Mr./Mrs. Arends. He/she is your client. It is a
first meeting with him/her, in which you discuss the assignment and get the best
possible picture of his/her expectations.

Food Festival Zwolle

Role student

You and your group are going to organize an event that was also organized by
Saxion students last year: the Food Festival Zwolle. The client has meetings with
various agencies (3 in total) and will determine with which event agency he/she will
work after the meetings and receipt of the quotation.

You have already spoken with your SaxEvents supervisor and several things have
become clear to you. You know it is a major event. The client has been instructed by
the board of the Food Festival Zwolle to pay a lot of attention to the theme of
"sustainability" and to raise money for charity.

The client wants a different approach for this year than previous years and is
looking for an event agency that can take care of the publicity prior to the event and
develop activities that contribute to the good cause.

Today you have a conversation with Mr./Mrs. Van Beek. He/she is your client. It is a
first meeting with him/her, in which you discuss the assignment and get the best
possible picture of his/her expectations.
