"Just as no one can be forced into

belief,so no one can be forced into
unbelief"
- Sigmund Freud
Sigmund Freud’s theories are significantly different from
Kant’s, his concept of the self leads to a comparable
dualistic understanding of the self. Freud isn’t a
philosopher in the traditional sense, but his ideas on the
nature of the self have influenced philosophical thought as
well as nearly every other area in the humanities and social
sciences. Naturally, he has had the largest impact in the
domains of psychology and psychoanalysis.
The self, according to Freud, was separated into three
levels: conscious, preconscious, and unconscious. Despite
the fact that the conscious self plays a crucial role in our
lives, it is the unconscious self that fascinates Freud the
most and has the most influence on our personalities. The
minimal amount of mental activity that we are aware of is
referred to as consciousness. Things that we may be aware of
if we wished or tried are known as preconsciousness. Things
we aren’t aware of and can’t become aware of are referred to
as unconsciousness.
Conscious is the most common experience you can encounter
is pain; whether it's physical, mental or emotional. I've
experience physical pain during our practice in cheerdance
my body aches and very tiring but fun and mental in the
sense of being stressed in school works and problems that
sometimes I encounter. And also emotional pain I get so
easily hurt when someone tell me a hurtful words.
Preconscious ideas are not in your awareness but
if someone asked you related to the idea you
would be able to recall it. For example, when
someone asked you what clothes you wore
yesterday you would be able to tell them since
you remembered. I’ve experienced
preconsciousness, especially when taking the
exams in the sense that you are able to recall
the answers when reading the questions.
Unconsciousness is lacking awareness or
when you make a gesture automatically
without thinking about it. People who
become unconscious don’t respond to loud
sounds or shaking. For example, fainting
due to emotional stress or anxiety. I
almost got to experience being unconscious
when I had some health problems. When I was
in grade 6,my health problem attacked,I
was shaking terribly back then and I have
problems with my breathing. My whole class
got chaos and my teachers decided that I
most go home so that I can rest and take
some medications.
