Avoid arranging the device in the proximity of or in direct contact with any source of heat and electromagnetic field. Connect the
device on supply line other than those used for motor drives or other devices that may cause some noise on the net.
For all input control signals to the Timer (D1a, D5, D6,...) use anti-flame wires with a minimum section of 0.25 mm².
Before acting on the device for any operation, check for safe conditions. For electrical operations never forget to power off, wait
30 seconds for the internal capacitor discharge before opening. At the end of the operations close the device to restore the
protection degree before powering on again.
For the electrical connection of the supply voltage and filter cleaning electrovalves use anti-flame wires with a minimum section
of 0.75 mm². For output relay contacts use anti-flame wires with a minimum section of 1.5 mm2.
For the output signal 4÷20 mA use anti-flame shielded wire with minimum section of 0,25 mm².
For the electrical connections use antiflame shielded cable 3 x 0,75 mm²
ATTENTION: with output voltage 230VAC we advice you to use connectors with RC filter or to insert it on every supply line of
any ev.

RUNNING MODE
When supply voltage switch On the cleaning cycle starts if all the necessary conditions for running are
present.
The upper line of the display shows the differential pressure reading or TC signal reading depend on
the selection (option) and the type of operating mode (Manual / Automatic).
The line below shows a series of informations of the run status and the alarm situations active (See
table below / alarm description).
If no one key is pressed for 30 seconds the backlight brightness decrease, to ensure upper energy
safe and longer life of the display, up to a key is pressed again.

ALARMS DESCRIPTION
In run mode the lower line of the display shows the active alarm situations.
By pressing key A it is possible to scroll all the active alarms.
By pressing key E it is possible to reset the alarms.
The table below shows all the possible alarm situations. Some of these are related to particular
options on request and they are not present in Standard version.
The alarm visualization got the priority on other visualization on the 2nd line of the display.

OPTIONS ON REQUEST
B9b ELECTRIC CONTROL OF OUTPUT ACTIVATION (TIMER WITH 16X2 LCD DISPLAY)
If a solenoid valve is not activated, the relay K2 indicate the alarm condition and the display shows the alarm condition code E2 (See alarm
description).
Press key 'E' to reset alarm condition.
ATTENTION: this function will be active only if the automatic selection of the load in set up is not selected.
The alarm switch on after 5 consecutive fails on the same output.
C1c DIGITAL DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE CONTROL (INSTANTANEOUS STOP)
In automatic running mode (C4a), the cleaning cycle is activated and deactivated according to the dP readout.
C1c Set the cleaning STOP threshold: if dP is below this threshold, the cleaning cycle stops and the display shows 'CYCLE STOP FOR LOW dP'. The
cleaning cycle stops immediately and as soon as the start threshold is reached. The cycle will restart from the point of stop (Set 13).
C1b Set the cleaning START threshold: if dP is above this threshold, the cleaning cycle is activated (Set 14).
C2a ADDITIONAL CLEANING CYCLES AFTER A PRESET TIME
By keyboard it is possible to set a well-defined interval time (from 1 minute to 99 hours and 59 minutes), at the expiry of which a well-defined number
of set cleaning cycles are automatically activated.
Activation occurs if the sequencer stops because of low dP for the set time interval.
The display shows 'POST-CLEANING ACT' during these additional cycles.
This function is active only when the sequencer is in automatic operation mode.
By setting OFF in set up, option C2a is excluded.
C11a 4÷20 MA SIGNAL AT THE OUTPUT OF DP READOUT
4÷20 mA output signal corresponding to the dP reading.
The signal is active, supplied at 12VDC by the device, the maximun drived load is 450 Ohm. 4mA = dP reading 0.00 kPa, 20 mA = dP reading equal to
the full range requested.
If an external voltage is applied to C11a clamps the device will be damaged.
C7a2 MINIMUM DP ALARM. ALARMED CONTACT CLOSED. EVENT MEMORY
If the dP readout is below the threshold in Set Up, the minimum dP alarm is activated. The display shows the alarm condition code E8 (see the alarm
description) or the dP readout and letter L alternatively, according to the model.
The corresponding alarm relay will signal its condition. Press the alarm reset key to reset it.
If set to 'OFF' or 'E' (according to the model), the function is excluded.
NOTE: the minimum dP alarm is delayed by 60 seconds by default after the activation of the first washing cycle.
C7b2 MAXIMUM DP ALARM. ALARMED CONTACT CLOSED. EVENT MEMORY
If the dP readout is above the threshold in Set up, the maximum dP alarm is activated. The display shows the alarm condition code E7 (see the alarm
description) or the dP readout and letter H alternatively, according to the model.
The corresponding alarm relay will signal its condition. Press the alarm reset key to reset it.
The activation of this alarm is delayed by 20 seconds by default.
C13_5 DP FULL RANGE 5 KPA
Maximum differential pressure value measurable by the device 5.00 kPa = 50.0 mbar = 506 mmH2O. With dP reading over 5 kPa the display shows 'E'.
D1a3 ADDITIONAL CYCLES FROM VOLTFREE CONTACT. ALWAYS ENABLED.
By connecting an NO auxiliary contact of the circuit intended to drive the fan with the sequencer, it is possible to add a pre-set number of cleaning
cycles after the fan stop. Their number can be set from 0 to 99 by keyboard.
Post-cleaning cycles are activated even if dP = 0 or C6x open.
If contact D1a3 is open, the DS2 display shows 'FAN STOP'.
The display shows 'POST-CLEANING ACT' during additional cycles.
NOTE. Jump D1a3 clamps if it is not used with inputs enabled.
Kb3 PROTECTED MENU ACCESS
In set up function 50, by insert the right password, it is possible to enter in a protected set up to manage particoular parameters.
Contact the supplier to access to these parameters.
