Travelling

Over the past few years, my family and I had a trip to Da

Lat city which is a very famous destination. We decided
to go on package tour as we could enjoyed the trip
without worrying anything else. We have seen many
breathtaking views during our trip in Da Lat and we took
many pictures of famous landmarks, such as flower park,
Love of Valley, Langbiang mountain,.. At the top of
Langbiang mountain, we had opportunity to participate
in a festival, to taste wine drunk, everyone gathered in a
circle and danced together even though we didn’t know
each other but the atmosphere was really great. After
sundown when things become more exciting around Da
Lat, we visited the night market to sample the local
street foods thus we were full up with grilled rice paper,
grilled corn and glass of soy milk. There were many
interesting things in this night market, the street vendors
were spread out everywhere so we walked around,
soaked up the fresh air and bought souvenirs until the
midnight. Each time I visited Da Lat was a different
experience about this beautiful city, I really enjoyed that
trip so anyway I will come back to Da Lat next summer
for sure.

The person I admire most in my family is my mother, a considerate and thoughtful woman. At
the age of forty, she maintains a youthful look. She has an oval face and glowing smile; she is
always beautiful in my eyes. My mom is a caring and warm woman. She always gets up early to
cook for my family, she takes care of me when I am sick. When I was young, she always spent
time teaching me how to do the homework. Although she was busy with her work, she still found
time to play with me and my younger brother. She always gives me a sympathetic ear, I can
share everything with her: all my stories, my secrets, my sorrow, my happiness... She cheers
me up, gives me helpful advice and encourages me to be more optimistic every time I feel
disappointed and depressed. She plays a vital role in my life. I am truly happy and lucky to have
a mother like her.
Teacher

My favorite teacher is Mr. Tuan, who was one of the greatest teachers I have
ever had. I met him when I was in grade twelve and he was my physics
teacher. He is thirty-five years old, and he looks quite handsome. I was so
impressed by his disciplined personality. He gave us homework almost every
day and made us submit it on time. Sometimes he was a little bit strict but
that made us study better and be more self-disciplined. He was able to
explain something complicated in a much simpler way. He related physics
formulas into Vietnamese sentences so that students could remember them
more easily. He was so inspiring. I know he spent a lot of time traveling when
he was young and in his free time, therefore he has encountered various
problems. He had lots of valuable experiences and life lessons to pass on to
us so that we loved listening to his stories after the stressful classes.  He is
very enthusiastic and always motivates us to do our best in our study and in
our life. I love and respect him with all my heart.

Employment
Everyone has their own dream jobs and I also have one. I would love to become an economics
or financial journalist one day. It was my dream when I was a little kid, and it became more
intense when I had the opportunity to be a member of the Writing International Journal club in
University. I have been fascinated and I think it’s a very interesting line of work.

Writing economics journalism involves doing economics and financial reports, collecting the
information by investigation, research and interviewing the entrepreneurs. Generally, they write
and report stories for news magazines, television, newspaper, or radio. To become a
professional economics journalist, I would have to obtain a degree program in journalism,
communications, economics. The journalist needs to explain the reports, inform the domestic
and international economic and financial events to readers in simple, understandable terms and
sentences.
Being an economics journalist would be my dream job as you will have opportunities to travel
around the world, meet interesting people, and hear lots of amazing stories. You also get to
interview famous entrepreneurs who are highly successful and at the top of their fields, and I
believe that they can inspire me and readers a lot. Additionally, it is a quite pretty well paid job,
everybody aspires to a high paying job and I am not the exception. I try to improve my
knowledge everyday and will achieve my dream jobs in the future.
