A little background

URPI was founded in 1977 as WEA Records

Philippines Inc. The company was the licensee
of WEA in the Philippines for 15 years, but the
latter still decided to put its own office, the
precursor of what is now Warner Music
Philippines.

In 1992, the company adopted a new name,

Universal Records Philippines Inc., and since
then it rose as one of the Philippines' best and
biggest record labels.

Currently, it is the leading independent

recording company in the country, being home
to best-selling OPM artists.

which is 2 times a day.

We offer 10% to 25% of the suggested retail price

for top line albums.
Royalties per song is 0.091 per production of a song.
The royalties will be cut into 70% will go to the label
and 30% for the artist.

responsible for creating,
modifying and producing
music. They are experts in
everything audio. This type
of work draws on many
disciplines like acoustics,
psychoacoustics, electrical
engineering and music
About the label: Production Cost and In House Producers
with In House Producer, Michael Elisterio

A beginner to intermediate producer should charge between $200 and $900 dollars per song plus
20% of the artist royalties (that is 3% of the record's sale price).
An experienced producer can easily charge between $900 and $3500 dollars plus 20 - 25% of the
artist royalties or 3-4% of the record’s sale price.
Top level producers should charge between $10,000-$35,000 per song plus the royalties.
Legend Producers can charge up to $100,000 per song also gaining their royalty share (that is after the
advance has been so recouped)

In House Producers are available anytime to work on new projects, it is also

optional if you want a producer exclusively at your house.
