Conclusion:

This experiment shows that every pipe have a friction between water and pipe that cause

losses showed as minor losses in spite of its material. The material affects the magnitude

of the minor losses where rough material has higher minor losses than smooth material

that have lower minor losses. And other types of losses are called major losses caused

due to bends. Major losses are way higher than minor losses, where it affects more. This

loss is due to fluid mixing at the bend. These two losses are important in designing for

large pipes systems. Where in these large systems efficiency is important and the, losses

effects these efficiency, then losses should be considered. The moody diagram shows the

effect of friction on the flow.
