Executive summary

Professional development is an essential part of personal growth that further helps a

person to enhance their skills and knowledge. The position in which I am interested in is the

digital marketing manager position. In the report, my professional development activities are

described based on the company Showpo.

Introduction

Professional development is an essential part of personal growth that further helps a

person to enhance their skills and knowledge. In order to achieve that, they invest their time

in fulfilling training and development programs that help them to improve in their career and

achieve success. In the report, the focus has been given to select a future job role and based

on that create professional development goals.

Company overview

Showpo is a leading online Australian global fashion company that was founded in

the year 2010. Headquarter of the company is established in Sydney, Australia and their

target customers are the next generation of young women all over the world. The purpose of

the business to inspire women to be themselves and have fun with fashion. The website o the

company is https://www.showpo.com/us/ (Showpo, 2021).

Company goals and objectives

The objectives of the company are to empower, entertain and inspire communities

while implementing diverse as well as optimistic fashion and experiences through storytelling

(Showpo, 2021). Their long-term goals are to transform the brand into a “the go-to place for

shopping”. They also want to build the right team and concentrate on expanding the product

range with geographic footprints. At the same time, they want to create better consumer

experiences and bring consumer satisfaction (Showpo, 2021).

Position description

The position in which I am interested in is the digital marketing manager position.

Based on the job role, the digital marketer is responsible for managing digital marketing,

looking after the digital performance media and at the same time, search for options through

which the online channel can grow and improve their position in the global market.

I am especially interested in the career as being a digital marketer, I will be able to

connect with consumers and build relationships with them through communication. At the

same time, I will be able to promote the brand in a better way while implementing SEO and

social media marketing strategy and can effectively build preferences while increasing sales

through online channels (Bala & Verma, 2018).

The key responsibilities of the digital marketer include

 Formulating strategies that can effectively create a long-lasting digital connection

with the audiences (Di Gregorio et al. 2019).

 Planning as well as monitoring the online presence of the company.

 Updating websites, actively involved in SEO marketing and implement creative ideas

for content marketing.

 While optimizing online advertisements through Facebook and Google Adwords

enhance organizational brand awareness.

Conclusion

While concluding it can be said that I will improve my knowledge while doing the

courses in digital marketing and enhance my opportunities to gain better success. That way, I
