Thể Động từ “tobe” Động từ “thường”

Khẳng S + was/ were + O S + V-ed/ VQK (bất quy tắc) + O

định I/ He/ She/ It (số ít) + was Động từ có quy tắc ở thì quá khứ => thêm
(+) We/ You/ They (số nhiều) + were hậu tố "-ed" vào cuối động từ

Ex: My computer was broken yesterday. Động từ bất quy tắc ở thì quá khứ => học

Ex: They were in Paris on their summer Ex: She watched this film yesterday.

Phủ S + was not/were not + Object/Adj S + did not + V(nguyên mẫu)

định was not = wasn’t did not = didn’t
(-) were not = weren’t Ex: He didn’t play football last Sunday.

Trong câu có các trạng từ chỉ thời gian trong quá khứ:
– yesterday (hôm qua)
– last night/ last week/ last month/ last year: tối qua/ tuần trước/ tháng trước/ năm ngoái
– ago: trước (two hours ago: 2 giờ trước/ two weeks ago: 2 tuần trước)
– in + date in the past: vào + thời điểm trong quá khứ (in 2001: vào năm 2001)
