described in question five, or would you behave differently? Why?
3) Do you think the advice offered by the author of this passage can also help you protect your

from other bugs, such as roaches? Why or why not? Explain your inference.

ANSWER:
1. I will throw away all the rotten fruit so that there are no more fruit flies, clean anything that
can attract fruit flies such as spilled juice or other dirty areas and put the fruit or food in the
refrigerator.
And if there are still fruit flies, I will follow the method used by the author of the text above by
making a device for fruit flies.
Why? Because it is more effective than spraying very dangerous pesticides, the traps suggested
above are more natural and environmentally friendly.

2. I will leave it alone because I have also cleaned all the places that might attract the fly's
attention and there is nothing for it to eat and the fly will go away by itself.

3. Maybe the suggestions offered will be very useful and the traps made can overcome the
problem of fruit flies, for cockroaches I'm not sure if the traps can get rid of them because the
trap holes made are too small for a large cockroach body.

Problems About Food and Drinks

A. Read the problems below and tell possible solutions.
1. My husband and I are both very worried about our daughter who is now 15 years
old. She seldom eats healthy foods like broccoli or carrots, apples or oranges.
Instead, she usually eats unhealthy foods like hamburgers and French fries,
cookies and candy. I think her school cafeteria should offer healthier food, and TV
commercials should advertise better food. How can we get our daughter to change
her eating habits?
Patricia

Solution: Give education on why children often eat unhealthy food is very fatal to the body, for
example it will make obesity or malnutrition, a good solution for unhealthy food is sold in the
school canteen, you can make provisions for your child so they don't snack randomly .
2. I would really be very thankful for any advice you can give me. Our young son,
who is 5 years old, is very active. He loves to run and play outside with his
friends, watch TV, and read books. The problem is this: our doctor says that he is
too skinny and he should eat more. However, I try to give him lots of food to eat,
but he just doesn’t eat very much. He eats just a little, and then he runs away to
watch his favorite cartoon or play with his friends. My friend says I should let him
eat things like hot dogs and ice cream to get him more interested in eating. But I
want our son to eat lots of fruits and vegetables.
