Dear Diary,
As you know, I am currently in London on vacation. While I have been
enjoying my time in London, my journey here was quite stressful! First of all, my
flight were delayed by two hours because of the poor weather. Once the plane
was finally on its way, it was quite a bumpy ride. When I landed and arrived in the
baggage claim area, I couldn’t find my bags. After more than an hour, I told that
my luggage had been lost! So I arrived at my hotel without any luggage, and my
first night in London spend with only a few things that I had taken onto the plane
with me. The next morning, the airline called to tell me that my luggage were
putting onto a flight to Paris by accident. Luckily, I were told that it would arrive by
the afternoon.
While my luggage was heading back to London, I spent the morning
exploring the city. I visited the famous Buckingham Palace, which is consider as
one of the top tourist destinations in London. I were told by a fellow tourist that
the Queen of England lives in the Palace during the weekdays. Next, I had a
delicious lunch at a nearby cafe. Despite it being a rainy and cold day, the cafe
was visit by many customers. Finally, it was time to head back to the airport to
pick up my luggage. Luckily, nothing were lost!
