1) Facing My Worst Travel Experience.

Dear Mary!

Hello! How are you? I hope you are well. In the last letter, you told me about your trip to America, so I
want to share my story of a failed trip.

Honestly, I have been preparing for a trip to Mexico for a long time. I booked a hotel room in advance,
took tickets, bought everything I needed, packed my things and went to the airport on the day of
departure without panic. When I got to my destination I was incredibly happy and looking forward to
the next day. I went on a bus tour, which cost a little money, but halfway the car broke down and we
waited for it to be repaired. It was very hot that day, so after a few hours in the sun I got very tanned
and tired. They promised to postpone the tour for a day and return some of the money, which never
happened. After rest I went down to breakfast. Unfortunately, I spent the next few days in the hospital
due to poisoning. But that's not all my problems in Mexico. As you know, there are many pickpockets in
this country, one of them stole the money in my pocket. Fortunately, I had other money.

In conclusion, I want to say that no one can avoid embarrassment when traveling. I am upset that such a
long-awaited trip was unsuccessful, but there were still positive moments. I concluded that you need to
go on trips with friends so at least it will be fun. Have you had any bad trips? If so, tell me about it.

Best wishes, Anna
