Notion/Topic: Shopping
Communicative purposes/functions:
Previous lesson (Unit 3B): Students learned to apply the vocabulary to talk about
money. They also learned to apply the Present Perfect Simple to share some tips
for saving money, and how to spend money appropriately as well.
The lesson aims to provide students with PRACTICE listening and speaking to
talk about shopping (A1)
The lesson aims to provide students with KNOWLEDGE of vocabulary and
chunks to talk about shopping (A2)
Notes: Chunks are groups of words that can be found together in language. They can be words that always go
together, such as fixed collocations, or that commonly do, such as certain grammatical structures that follow rules.
