Lesson Delivery 1. Pupils recite the poem aloud. Teacher explains the meaning of the poem, i e The poem is about games and
feelings experienced by the poet and his friends.
2. Divide pupils into five groups.Each group is given a stanza. The group members will then recite their stanza with
the movements and actions of the characters.
3. The whole class will recite the poem with the first group reciting the first stanza, the second group reciting the
second stanza and so on. The groups will recite their stanzas accompanied by their own movements.
4.Pupils study the pictures on p 27.Teacher asks questions. Eg.What are they doing? Why does the boy hiding under the bed?
5.Pupils refer to textbook page 8 and sing the song. Then, pupils answer the questions

outside grandma’s house and their different types of behaviour
3. Divide pupils into four groups.Each group is given a stanza. The group members will then recite their stanza with
the movements and actions of cats.
4. The whole class will recite the poem with the first group reciting the first stanza, the second group reciting the
second stanza and so on.
5. The groups will recite their stanzas accompanied by their own movements.
6.Pupils study the pictures on TB p9.Teacher asks questions. Eg. What are they doing? Why does the boy sitting
on the wheel chair?
7.Pupils chants ‘I Love Being Me’ and act out the rhythm.Then,pupils answer the questions regarding the chants in
the textbook.
Post lesson Teacher asks pupils to tell what they have learned.
