THE ISLAND OF ANIMALS

BY: DENYS JOHNSON

Introduction
In this wonderfully drawn translation of an Islamic literature published in Basra around the tenth century, the
topical issue of animal rights is discussed. The Island of Animals affirms this concept throughout its account of
a fantastic island populated only by living creatures and Supernatural creature, a race of imaginary beings, until
the day a huge storm sunken ships men upon its coasts; Teaches that group is responsible for living creatures
and must always treat each other with respect; The Island of Animals affirms this notion through its acct of a
fantastic island populated only by living creatures and Djinn, a time trial of imaginary beings, until the day a
great. Men likely start to exploit the creatures that live there with their own gain, but the creature’s revolt and
take their cause to the Djinn. The Lord of the Djinn hears both human and animal evidence before deciding that
man is better because he is the only creature who has been allowed a seat in Paradise with the Creator.
However, despite the fact that man is the ruler, other animals are not his servants, and any unkind action will be
punished in the hereafter. This storey is complemented by beautifully detailed dark pictures, including
numerous full-page spread, making it both moving and informative. An essential book that will appeal to kids
and adults, as well as a reminder of the necessity of treating animals humanely.

This was true the guys who'd been currently settling on the islands were the first humans to set foot there. The
animals have had it all to him up to this point. The only other animals they inhabited it with were a few Djinn,
those beings that dwell among us but are never seen. According to the Qur'an, the Prophet Muhammad, on
whom the Allah's blessing and peace be upon him, taught to the Djinn in same way that he taught to humans; as
a result, many Djinn, like so many humans, are becoming Muslims and act in harmony with Allah's rules and
His Prophet's instructions. The animals and the Djinn coexisted happily since the Genie did not meddle with the
animals' life and gave them entire freedom. Everything changed with the advent of man. The 70 men were soon
busy erecting dwellings and planning ahead for the nice lives they had seen in their former residences. When
the time men come to earth everything change they evolve so many things and life of animals and other creature
changed. The things that human evolve were living style. Food, they build homes for them and made clothes for
covering their bodies and also start eating animals for their food. These are the all points that were discussed in
this book.

Body
Topic affirms this concept throughout its account of a fantastic island populated only by animals and
Supernatural creature, a race of some imaginary beings, until the day a men land upon its coasts, that group was
responsible for living creatures and must always treat each other with respect. The animal immediately
recognized how drastically their lifestyles had altered since men arrived on their island. They conversed and
compared the calm independence they had previously enjoyed to the harsh and brutal treatment they were
currently receiving from man. The animals no longer ruled the land; they could no longer bring and go as they
wanted. As a result, some of the creatures rose up against their owners and refused to work for them any longer.
When this occurred, the men retaliated by hitting them with rods and lashes and threatening to stop feeding
them. Allowing them to feed in the fields is another option. In order that he might be able to come to a decision
in the quarrel that had broken out between the animals and man, the king of the Djinn, having heard that the
animals had formed themselves into seven different groups, gave instructions that a messenger should be sent to
each of their kings asking them to choose someone to be their spokesman and representative at his court. After
this decision all animals like lion, bees, birds had selected their spoke person and go to Djinn court for justice.
After all hearing Djinn made decisions about animals and human that how they can live. Just like The animals
argue that all species have a part in God's design. In Nature, everyone has a job to play. But, beyond these
purely defensive statements, the animals turn things on their foes, prompting a broad condemnation of human
flaws. Their goal is to disprove the claim that humanoid creatures' inherent superiority makes them the holders
of Nature and grants them complete freedom to treat all creatures as they see fit. The animals' retorts to such
hubris take up a large portion of the storey. In the end, the majority, but not all, of the assertions made by
humans are revealed to be false.

Conclusion
The Ikhnaton connected sacramental theology hope and the accomplishment of pleasure with the meticulous
growth of rational pursuits and academic quests, encountering "veracity in each and every religion" and
embracing information as "pure sustenance for the soul." The Brethren solemnly resorted to the Torah of Jews
and the Gospels of Christianity, in addition to filial observance of the precepts of the Qur'an and the hadith. The
oldest of the fifty-two scriptures, ‘The Case of the Animals vs Man Before the King of the Jinn,' the Brethren
depart from their customary explanatory structure and soar up into the world of fiction in this one, which was
extensively read and copied throughout the Medieval Era and since. ‘To review the virtues and fine points of
animals, their magnificent features and healthful natures, and to comment on man's overstepping, tyranny, and
injustice against by the creatures who service him the beasts and livestock, and his careless ungratefulness for
God's favors,' they say. The animals have a lot to say once they are given language, both about their own
4
situation and also about the human spirit. I will say that all human, animal and supernatural creatures have their
rights to live. We human have no right to force anyone to live according to our wishes because we are creations
of a single creator so we cannot interfere or disturb anyone’s live.
