Event 2.2 Participation in network projects for the creation and development of
engineering centers in the system of the National Technology Initiative is aimed at developing
the potential of the Mirror University Engineering Center "Elbrus" in a consortium with the NTI
center "New Production Technologies" of the St. Petersburg Polytechnic University,
development of scientific competencies of university employees in the field of digital design and
modeling, digital twins and additive technologies. Based on empirical data obtained at KBSU in
the field of polymer materials and additive technologies, a digital base, that will allow designing,
selecting a material and a manufacturing method for a competitive product, will be created. This
will significantly accelerate the introduction of polymer composite materials into specific
products and expand the circle of customers in the real sector of the economy.
Event 2.3  The development of the potential of centers for collective use is aimed at
increasing the efficiency of using the equipment of the centralized control center by enterprises
and departments of the region through the accreditation of laboratories and certification of
scientific and technical services, as well as the priority renewal of the material and technical base
for the engineering services most demanded in the region, advanced training of scientists and the
attraction of highly qualified specialists from the real sector of the economy for the effective
operation of modern research equipment.
