ANALYSIS:

The first voyage around the world by Magellan was most cited document and know
the best historical happen in Pre- colonial history of Philippine. The summary and the
flow of the story by Antonio Pigafetta was very well, and he highlight or emphasize the
important things happen in journey of Magellan in our country which is in the
Philippines. He introduced in the story our different tribes that we have and each place
that Magellan visited. According to summary of Pigafette in journey of Magellan he met
some king for the place he visited and they make some agreement and he build a good
relation to those king.
The place Magellan was in cebu, and in the king of cebu he introduced the
religion Roman Catholic and he baptized the king and the people in their and that the
start of Roman catholic here Philippines till now. Pigafetta stated in very detailed the
cause of death of Magellan and how he died. Magellan died in a poisoned arrow that
stricken to his right leg. Pigafetta work is a great importance in the study and writing of
the Philippine history. A student of history should recognize certain accompanying the
author and his identity. The summary of Pigafetta wrote was very well, detailed and easy
to understands the flow of the story, the important happening in the story and very
realistic. Antonio Pigafetta give the justice the summary of the first voyage around the
world by Magellan.
