I, Charith Silva, the project manager of the project committee for the upcoming workshop on
IT for Oridnary Level school students conducted by batch 89 students of HND in Computing
at ESOFT under the supervision of Mr. Krishantha Pathiraja.
This project is for Professional Practice: Assignment 01 (Pearson Higher Nationals in
Computing).We would like to conduct a workshop on Ordinary Level: Information
Technology subject and fundamentals of IT at the following selected schools.

Proposal of the project
This is the HND batch 89’s 1st project on professional practices course for the 1 st semester of
HND in Computing. We have decided to organize a workshop at a selected rural area in
Matara region.

Schedule
This is a 1 day workshop (4 hour) that will be conducted on 08 th November 2019. We will be
teaching them about hardware/software and networking for 1 hour per subject, the quiz will
take 45 minutes and there will be a break of 15 minutes.

o Creating/Developing Website
o HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Databases
 Computer Hardware

 At the end of the day quiz them on what they learnt
