ELECTION 2022

Election is the most powerful weapon of the people in the Philippines. As voting citizens,
we must be reminded that this Election 2022 grants us the chance to exercise our right
to suffrage and to elect the most qualified leader in order to have the brighter
Philippines. This is the biggest opportunity and accountability to choose what’sf the best
for every Filipino.

As election period draws near, several hopefuls that would like to make a difference in
our society are battling for the limited positions. Though it may sound wrong, these new
people and some familiar faces are running, once again, in the guise of “public service”.
Although there are already several qualifications for certain candidates, this has not
been an issue for the thick skinned to prevent them from running. This is the reason
why we have to be careful in voting our chosen leaders.

In familiarizing a candidate, we must consider the important standards that they must
meet in order to be tagged as a suitable candidate for a certain position. Every
candidate’s credentials must be criticized and validated so that we will not be blinded
and ignorant to choose someone who lives in fraud.

In this Election 2022, we must choose the leader who has legitimate accomplishments
and credentials; the one who knows the law and the politics; and the one who truly
cares about this country, especially during this time of pandemic. It is very visible who
prioritizes the safety of every Filipino’s health and who has compassion, especially
towards frontliners. Lastly, we need to choose someone who, as servant leader, can
truly make a difference.
