LESSON 2 : PHOTOGRAP COMPOSITION

FIRM-UP:
PARTS OF THE CAMERA:

TYPES OF SHOTS

PHOTOGRAPHY VIEWPOINT:

2|P age
VIEWPOINT IN PHOTOGRAPHY:
1. Birds eye view- camera was place on top of the subject to produce top view, usually they use drone
2. High angle - The camera points down on the subject from above.
3. Eye level angle - camera is placed at the same height as the eyes of the characters in your frame.
4. Low angle - camera angle is positioned below the eye line of the subject, pointing upward.
What is the rule of thirds?

The rule of thirds is a composition guideline that places your subject in the left or right third of an image,
leaving the other two thirds more open. While there are other forms of composition, the rule of thirds
generally leads to compelling and well-composed shots.

LESSON 3 : ARTISTIC PHOTOGRAPHY
Diffuser and reflector

Diffuser – is use to soften the light

projected to the subject. The larger
the diffuser, the softer the light will
be.

Reflector - primary purpose is to fix

shadows. If you are shooting a portrait
outdoors during the day, a reflector can
be used to fix odd shadows on the face,
or even to prevent a backlit subject
from becoming a silhouette.

Asymmetrical Photography:

Asymmetry photography -it has unequal

visual weight on either side.

Symmetrical Photography:

Symmetry photography -it has equal

visual weight on either side.

Artistic Photography:

Artistic photography -it is clearly reveal

that it was created by an artist and not by
just the camera.

Electrical Components:
components-used-circuit-designing.html

1. Resistor -is considered as a fundamental element in circuit designing. As the name suggests, it is used for
creating resistance in the flow of current. It is widely used in many electrical and electronics components.

5|P age
The resistance of any resister is measured in ohms. The number of resisters used in electronic circuits depends
on the measure of current you want to restrict, flowing through the circuit. More the resistance more is the
capacity of resisting current from the circuit.
Types of resistor: Fixed and Variable resistor
2. Capacitor -is the second most commonly used component in the circuit designing. The capacitance of a
capacitor is measured in microfarad and is denoted by μF.Capacitors come in a number of forms, but most
common forms are Ceramic Disc and Electrolyte.
Here are two types of capacitors that are primarily used:
1.Polarized capacitors – these have a positive and negative terminal
2.Non-polarized capacitors – these do not have any positive or negative terminals
3. Inductor -is a simple coil of wire used in many electrical circuits. When a current flows through the inductor
it stores energy in the magnetic field of the inductor.
Inductor allows DC to pass through it while it blocks AC source. It is mostly used in filters for separating the
signals of different frequencies.
4. Diode -is a component that allows the current to flow in one direction only. It mainly consists of anode and
cathode. The Anode is the negative. The Cathode is the positive .
Current will only flow when a positive voltage is applied to the anode side and negative voltage is applied to
the cathode side. Current won’t flow in reverse order.
5. LED -is a light emitting diode which works only when current flows through it. It is mainly used for indicating
if the circuit is working properly. When we connect LED in series with the circuit and it emits light, it shows the
circuit is working in perfect order. The short foot of the LED is the Negative and the long foot is the positive.
6. Transistor -is more like a switching device mainly used for switching and amplification purpose. It consists of
three elements i.e. emitter, base, collector. A small voltage of 0.7 V between base and emitter, turns it on.
Transistor comes in two main types: NPN and PNP transistor.
7. Integrated Circuit -is a complete circuit that consists of transistor, diodes and other elements. All these
elements are placed on the small chip of silicon. Integrated circuits are widely used in modern electronic
devices such as laptops and cell phones.
8. Replay -is a simple switch that prevents bigger circuits from damaging. It works as an electromagnetic switch
which gets triggered when a small amount of current flows through it.A small amount of current in the relay
creates a magnetic field around the coil which is then used to turning off and on a large amount of current.
9. DC battery -is a main source of supply to operate the electrical circuits. It converts chemical energy into
electrical energy that allows the current to flow.Different batteries can be connected in series in order to get
more voltage for an electrical circuit.
Each battery has two metal terminals. One is marked positive (+), the other negative (-). There are also
positive and negative cables in the jumper cable set. The red one is positive (+), the black one is negative (-).

TYPES OF ELECTRICAL DIAGRAM:
1. Block Diagram
2. Schematic Circuit Diagram
3. Pictorial Diagram

BLOCK DIAGRAM
A block diagram is a diagram of a system in which the principal parts or functions are represented by blocks
connected by lines that show the relationships of the blocks. They are heavily used in engineering in hardware
design, electronic design, software design, and process flow diagrams.

7|P age
SCHEMATIC CIRCUIT DIAGRAM
A schematic diagram is a simplified drawing that uses symbols and lines to convey important information.

PICTORIAL DIAGRAM:
A pictorial diagram uses pictures to represent the different components of a particular system. Pictorial
diagrams can vary in level of detail. Some diagrams may have realistic pictures to make the various
components easier to identify.
