Mohd Zain bin Haji Abdul Ghani (May 14, 1997) was a Malaysian politician from Malacca.

He
was Prime Minister of Malacca from October 14, 1994 to May 14, 1997. MohdZin won the
1990 general election in the UMNO Barisan Nasional Ticket of Bukit Asahan
Parliamentarian. He became prime minister in front of Jan Dipertua Negeri Melaka
(Governor) and Tun Saeed Ahmad Saeed Mahmood Shahabdin. As Prime Minister

, he also oversaw the Malacca Customary Land Development Corporation (PERTAM). The
Malacca Cultural Seminar was co-sponsored by the Prime Minister on April 16, 1996 and
was officially held by Malaysia's Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Mohd Zin also
participated in the opening of National Art Day on May 27, 1995 and the opening of the
museum on May 28, 1995.
