“Technology” by Jessie J
- This song is related to ICT because it can be seen that the features of ICT
in communication is present in this song. This song is about a girl
communicating to her loved one or important person in her life by using
technology or ICT such us messages, calls, text and social media. In this
music, I can tell that ICT made life easier for people, especially in
communicating. Unlike in the past where people have to make effort or
have to go through many processes before sending and before it will be
received and people have limits in interaction to people and in different
aspects of life like work, education, news and events. This music tells how
ICT can make someone feel like he/she is connected to his/her loved one.
In a broader sense, it tells how ICT in communication and interaction
makes life easier for people to be connected, updated, and Informed in
their families, friends, peers etc.. as well as in the outside world.

technology or ICT works and can be manipulated or use by humans. It
mainly shows the advantages of ICT, on what technology can do and how
 technology makes things easier for the people in everyday life. The lyrics

expressing. The lyrics tells how and what advantages can be done using
ICT or technology in different sectors of society.

- This songs is related to ICT mainly because it tells us that ICT or
technology can be used as witness, It shows the features and functions of
ICT and as well as on how we can use it in the world of media, news, and
entertainment. It depicts advantages of ICT in being informed, being
aware and being safe in the outside world. Unlike before we lack
information and connection to the people, news and events that is
occurring through times but this music tells us that we have technology
and ICT today that we can use as a tool for evidence, entertainment,
information and so much more.

- Meaningful use of these technologies in the classroom, work, community,

business and different sectors of society can be extremely beneficial. But
It is important to know how to use ICT wisely, safely and responsibly. So
how can we use ICT wisely?, As a student I would say to use wisely is to
know or to be recognised the social and ethical protocols and practices.
We should use ICT responsibly by knowing intellectual property,
plagiarism must be avoided. We can use ICT wisely by sharing only true,
fact or legit information in the social media platforms or media platforms, it
is also important to be INFORMATION LITERATE. We should be aware
and be safe by not sharing too much personal information that can harm
us and endanger us. We should respect users and audiences, and don’t
attack or cyberbully people. We have to be critical thinkers and use ICT as
advantage for important and significant things in our daily lives, that would
help us grow and develop in a good way.
