they will get the 2 points. There will be no extra credit awarded if the student does not get the
correct answer.

Part III: 34 points

Each question is worth 2 points. The grading is as follows

2 points: The work is shown and the student has the correct answer for the angle
1 point: The student shows work, but does not get the correct answer
1 point: the student has the correct answer but does not show work
0 points: the student does not show the correct answer nor do they show work.

Exit Ticket - Day 2

Directions: Answer the following questions below. You will be constructing each of the
following. You will be graded using Check - , Check, Check + method.

a) A set of parallel lines XY || RZ

b) A set of perpendicular lines QR ⊥ TS

c) A set of intersecting lines SW intersect AN

Evaluative Criteria - Day 2

For this exit ticket, the students will be graded using Check+ , Check, and Check - .

Check +
● The student is able to fluently construct the lines as well as labeling them respectively.
There are very little to no errors. The student demonstrates beyond level differentiation.

Check
● The student demonstrates understanding of constructing and labeling the lines and has
good ideas of the concepts. With more practice, the student can move into the check +
range. This student demonstrates on-level differentiation.

Check -
● The student demonstrates the ability to construct the lines, but needs help with labeling
and properly constructing the lines. This student's level of differentiation is approaching,
and the student may need additional help in order to understand the concepts.

Homework - Day 3
Directions: Answer the following questions below. Be sure to show your work.

1.) Given angle 6 = 65° , find angles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8. Show your work and your
thinking for solving for the angles to receive full credit. (14 pts) You will be awarded one
point for showing work and writing out your thinking, and one point for having the correct answer.

∡1 = ___________ ∡2 = __________ ∡3 = ___________

∡4 = ___________ ∡5 = __________ ∡7 = ___________

∡8 = ___________
2.) Use the properties of angles to solve for the missing angles. Show any work if needed.
(20 pts) You will be awarded one point for showing work and writing out your thinking, and one
point for having the correct answer.

a) a = __________

b) b = _________

c) c = _________

d) d = _________ e = _________

e) f = _________ g = _________

f) h = _________ i = _________ j = _________

Homework Day 3 - Answers

1) Given angle 6 = 65° , find angles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8

∡1 = 115° ∡2 = 65° ∡3 = 115°

∡4 = 65° ∡5 = 115° ∡7 = 115°
∡8 = 65°
2.) Use the properties of angles to solve for the missing angles.

g) a = 60°

h) b = 50°

i) c = 32°

j) d = 64° e = 64°

k) f = 55° g = 55°

l) h = 76° i = 76° j = 104°

Evaluative Criteria - Day 3

Question I: Each angle will be worth 2 points. The students will be awarded one point for showing work
and math for each angle, and another point for obtaining and writing down the correct answer. The first
question is worth 14 pts.

Question II: Just like question I, each angle will be worth 2 points. The students will be awarded one
point for showing work and math for each angle, and another point for obtaining and writing down the
correct answer. The first question is worth 20 pts.

Exit Ticket - Day 4 - QUIZ
Directions: Answer questions 1-3. Be sure to show your work to receive full credit. (10 pts)

1. Fill in the missing parts of the proof that finishes the proof and makes it true. (4pts) You
will be given credit for filling in the correct reason for each statement. No work needs to be shown,
and so no partial credit will be given.

2. Fill in the missing parts of the proof that finishes the proof and makes it ture. (3pts) You
will be given credit for filling in the correct reason for each statement. No work needs to be shown,
and so no partial credit will be given.
3. Look at the complete proof below. Identify the step that makes this proof incorrect, and
correct it. (3pts) You will be given credit for identifying the incorrect step and for fixing the step.
You will be awarded 1.5 points for identifying the step that is incorrect, and 1.5 points for identifying
the correct reason that corresponds to the statement.
Exit Ticket Day 4 - QUIZ ANSWERS
1) Fill in the missing parts of the proof that finishes the proof and makes it true.

2) Fill in the missing parts of the proof that finishes the proof and makes it ture.
3) Look at the complete proof below. Identify the step that makes this proof incorrect, and
correct it.

Evaluative Criteria - Day 4

This exit ticket quiz will be graded out of 10 points. The points will be awarded as follows.

Question I (4pts) The student will be given credit for filling in the correct reason for each
statement. No work needs to be shown and there will be no partial credit given.

Question II (3pts) The student will be given credit for filling in the correct reason for each
statement. No work needs to be shown and there will be no partial credit given.

Question III (3pts) The student will be given credit for identifying the incorrect step in the
proof and for fixing the proof. 1.5 points will be given to the student if they are able to
identify where the proof is messed up, and another 1.5 points will be given if the student is
able to write down the correct reason that corresponds to the statement.

Note: No work needs to be shown for Questions 1 & 2 and so there is no partial credit that needs
to be given. Proofs are also able to be completed in different ways, but since we are given the
statement and need to provide the reason, there is only one correct answer.
