Monthly Fee per child

Full Time - 5 Days per week: $997.00

Fees:
The Fees listed above are the parent portion, after the provincial Child Care Reduction Funding.
Our YMCA child care fees are pro-rated based on an annual 12-month fee. Fees include a daily snacks
and any fees related to out-trips. As the YMCA is committed to staff professional development, our
YMCA child care programs may also be closed on occasions so that we can offer staff training.

Fees are due and payable on the first of each month and may be paid by pre-authorized payment
through Visa, MasterCard or direct debit. Failure to pay fees can result in termination of care.

Withdrawal:
A minimum 45 days written notice is required to withdraw your child from the program, and must be
received by the first of the month prior to the month you wish to withdraw.

Closures:
In addition to staff professional development days, child care programs are closed between Christmas
and New Year’s Eve. The closures are accounted for in your monthly childcare fees.

MCFD Affordable Child Care Benefit:

In addition to our YMCA Financial Assistance program, which eliminates financial barriers for families
who want to access our programs and services, the Government of BC has launched the Affordable Child
Care Benefit initiative. This initiative helps to reduce child care fees for families. For more information
