If clause as Suggestion is used to give a suggestion about what to do if you want something to
happen.

The following is the formula for the conditional sentence as suggestion:

If + simple present, S + should/ought to/had better + V1
or
If +simple present, Why don't + S + V1?
Example :
- If you want to but the latest novel, you should go to a bookstore
- If you want to be slim, why don't you stop eating at night?
- If he wants to improve his English skills, she had better join a good English course
B.) If Clause as Imperative
This conditional sentence is a conditional sentence that is used to tell someone to take an
action if they want something to happen.
The following is the formula for the conditional sentence as imperative:
If + simple present, V1 + Object/Adverb

Example :
- If you don't wanna be late, get up early
- If she come, tell me immediately
- If you want to win this competition, be passionate and work hard!

A. Life has changed due to Covid-19, we must adjust our life for this situation. It’s
challenging for some people to adapt in new normal!
1. If you want to adapt in new normal you should try to remind each other, so the risk of
negligence in carrying out new habits will be reduce!
2. If you want to adapt in new normal you should prepare personal hygiene equipment so that
you can use these equipment if you are careless in preparing it when you want to leave the
house!
3. If you want to adapt in new normal you had better to installing reminders on smartphones
to increase discipline in carrying out new new normal habits!

sufficient quantities so as not to go out and shop too often!

B. The new normal brings some changes to education system in our country. Some students
can’t handle this situation, few of them get temptation to play rather than do school works.
