CLINIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH RESPECT TO THE NORMAL CONDITION

1. Explain the key components of a Clinic Management System project

plan.
 Planning & Requirements Gathering
o The planning phase will produce a milestone-driven schedules and
detailed project planning schedule for the development and
implementation of the system.
 System Analysis
o The main purpose for this phase is to gather user requirement so that at
the end of project, it will produce a system that meet client’s expectation.
 System Design
o This phase will focus more on the technical part of the system especially
on how the system will operate. For this project, the clinic management
does not restrict which language to be used.
 Implementation
o The goal for this system is to implement the system correctly, efficiently on
the device involved.
 Testing
o This is to make sure that the system produced is error free and in a high-
quality condition. The clinic staff will be using the system several times
before it is released to them.

2. Explain the importance of a cost/benefit analysis to the successful

implementation of a Clinic Management System project plan.
Cost-benefit analysis will determine if the Clinic Management System project is
feasible by considering the financing costs of running the medical clinic. It will determine
whether the benefits and costs of running the clinic are a good investment of funds
today.
3. Explain roles and responsibilities for key project personnel and
stakeholders.
 End-Users: Clinicians, Outreach to potential end users can have the greatest
positive impact on meeting Clinic Management System goals and improving
overall Clinic efficiency.
 Patients, it will produce changes that could directly impact patients or alter the
relationship between clinicians and patients.
 Billing and Audit Functions, Projects that will have a significant effect on billing
processes or the process by which auditable records are stored should engage
with billing or regulatory staff as needed.

4. Use appropriate project planning and tracking tools.

In this Clinic Management System project, gantt chart will be used for illustrating the
project timeline. Gantt chart is a visual tool that illustrate the project flow measured
against time and give people the overview of the schedules for the whole project at a
glance.
5. Discuss the issues involved in creating a Clinic Management System
project schedule.

 Estimating Task Duration, the most basic and common problem with project
scheduling is estimating the duration of each project task.
 Assigning Resources, schedule also needs to realistically account for how
much time each team member can spend on the project, considering other
projects, operational support or administrative tasks they must do.

 Setting the Implementation Date, reduce the time planned for some tasks to
meet the needed end date

 Managing the Unknown, identifying possible risks at the beginning of the

project you’ll be able to better manage any that occur and thereby reduce their
impact to your schedule.

 Managing Change, changes to the scope of the project, requirements to be

accomplished or technology being used may disrupt your project schedule.

6. Explain how to identify the lessons learned in a project closeout and review
session.

We have not yet created or develop a system therefore we do not know how to
identify the lessons learned in a project closeout and review session.
7. Working on a team, prepare a project plan for an IT project that
demonstrates an ability to follow standard project management
methodology.
During the development of the system, System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
procedures will be followed. In the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Structured
Systems Analysis and Design Methodology (SSADM) will be applied. SSADM phased
includes Planning, Analysis, Design and Implementation and Testing. During this phase,
the objectives and goals of the system were defined clearly include the project scoped.
In this case, the objectives and goals of the system are to improve the management
process in clinic and at the same way to improve process of recording data and data
retrieval. After this, the risks of the system are been identified and evaluated. Identify
the tools that going to use in the development process.
8. Working on a team, prepare a project plan for an IT project that
demonstrates an ability to evaluate project requirements, to define the
scope of work, to conduct organizational planning, to identify and evaluate
risks, to develop an implementation plan, and to manage change control
processes, as well as knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and
evaluation.
Clinic Management System Scope of the project Clinic Management System It may
help collecting perfect management in details. It also helps in current all works relative
to Clinic Management System. It will be also reduced the cost of collecting the
management & collection procedure will go on smoothly. Our project aims at Business
process automation, we have tried to computerize various processes of Clinic
Management System.
- Clinic Management System GANTT CHART It is also known as Bar chart is used
exclusively for scheduling purpose. It is a project controlling technique. It is used
for scheduling. Budgeting and resourcing planning. A Gantt is a bar chart with
each bar representing activity. The bars are drawn against a time line.
- Implementation At this phase, all the design is transfer into the programming
language. Prototyping approach will be used in the implementation phased. It
means that the system will be keep on building and testing until the system meet
the requirement during the designed phase.

9. Assess how well a project follows its project plan.

Project planning process starts before work on the actual project begins and
continues throughout the life cycle of the project. Its main goal is to adequately plan
the time, cost and resources needed for the project and thus to minimize risk. The
main output of the project planning process is the project plan (or project management
plan), which includes the project schedule as well as various.
