In the vast majority of cases, administrative assistant duties include maintaining and
sharing information within an office. On the whole, answering phones, taking memos, and

Secondly, in dealing with individuals every day, we come into contact with everyone,
whether they're on the phone, in person, or on the internet. An office administrative assistants
needs to have several customer service skills to do the jobs successfully. Some of this skills

And in order to be sure they are truly hearing what consumers are saying, they must be doing it
actively. Paying close attention if you must. When you have more time, be careful to remember
dates, phone numbers, and names.
Confidentiality -Clients want to think that they can trust you with secrets about their
business and that their secrets will remain confidential. Talking about clients and customers with
your buddies is completely unprofessional. Information provided to you should only be
distributed to those persons who require it.
Follow up – When you offer a solution to a client's problem, make sure to follow up with
either a phone call or an email to ensure that the consumer is satisfied with the answer and that
the problem has been fixed.
In conclusion, an office administrator requires many abilities to engage with people,
problem solve, exhibit patience and understanding, assure customer pleasure, and handle
customer complaints are all examples of customer service competencies.
