Highlights of the Event
Facilitating Factors 1. The ICT/Technical Support created venue to communicate with
(Factors/areas that helped the SBM Coordinators and SBM validators such as Group Chat and for
program run smoothly)
the dissemination of information ahead of time.
2. Planning the session before the Virtual Presentation was done.
3. The facilitators decided on delivery platform and disseminated
information about the platforms that will be used. They also
made sure all participants had registered and accessed to the
platform. The participants were able to join the google meet
before the meeting time.
4. A preliminary review of the artifacts submitted was made by the
validators prior to the virtual presentation of the SBM Coordinators
to scrutinize the submitted documents.
5. The presenters were equipped on the mode of presentation which
is online. They were ready for any technical issues that may arise.
6. The TA providers furnished many significant inputs to both the School
Heads and SBM Coordinators for the improvement of their SBM
Level of Practice. Participants also shared their thoughts, views and
opinions or reflections on the matters.
7. Grouping of schools was done for easy validation and provision of Technical
Assistance. Each Team has 3 validators from SDO-Rizal.
Challenges 1. Some participants experienced slow internet connection
(Situations/ circumstances 2. There were technical problems encountered on some presentations
happened during the activity and screen sharing.
that affected the training) 3. Poor audio-conferencing quality
4. Some participants exceed the 1-hour allotment for their
presentation.
Actions Taken  Choosing the best platform that fits the internet access of the
(Solution) members/participants
 Interchanging of time slot was done. Move for next presenter while
preparing the presentations. There is a google drive wherein the
documents of all presenters are in place, thus if problem arise the
ICT/Technical support is the one presenting the PowerPoint
presentation while the presenter is the one explaining the ppt.
 Looked a gadget that has a better resolution in the connection and so
with the internet.
 Focus on the essential data to be presented.
Result The activity was started with a prayer led by Catherine Anne Barcelon.
Emmalyn P. Guevarra, SEPS-SMME opened the activity through her statement of
purpose remarking “in this new norm, we’ll use the lens of an SBM Advocate
who validate in time of a pandemic; may systema pero mapuso”. She also

 The minutes of the meeting were not properly defined. What transpired
during the meeting? What was discussed at the meeting? It has to be
agreed prior to adjournment. Look at the details of the meeting.
 Narrative report is not an accomplishment report. It’s a narration of what
happened during the meeting. It is a detailed illustration of an event that
has occurred in chronological order. Accomplishment report is status
report that provides an overview of what was achieved during the given
period. Were you able to meet the results? It shall be in table type/ format
with details of the activities, data and results. It’s accomplishment vs. the
target.
 All the programs and activities should be properly documented so that it

to-read, accessible and up to date.
 All schools have a budget through MOOE. Our ESIP programs and
projects have been allocated a budget; we have the resources for that. We
have allocated funds that can be spent on activities and necessities that
support learning programs and help maintain a safe and healthy
environment in schools. Do not ask for donations from stakeholders if it is
possible to get it from MOOE unless it is voluntarily given by the
stakeholders in kind. Instead, ask our stakeholders for Gabay-aral Tutors.
Stand for asking donations. Raise dignity. How do you monitor the
