A SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION ABOUT LGBTQ’S ZEAL FOR

RIGHTS

I. RATIONALE
The essential foundation of human identity is established through sex. When it
comes to social morality, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer
(LGBTQ) group does not receive enough attention because of the cultures that have
been passed down to the current day and the inability of society to embrace it as it
rises in societal standards. LGBTQ populations, on the other hand, are still struggling
for their right to be seen as equal members of society. Lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) are the four categories of LGBTQ.
With this research proposal, we hope to better understand the zeal with which
the LGBTQ community fights for their rights. We also hope to better understand the
socio-psychological factors that influence how they feel and how they think about
their own identity and classification within the LGBTQ community. Furthermore, the
ways and thoughts of the LGBTQ community are discussed in this proposal as they
seek for the freedom and liberties that they so desperately want.
The purpose of this study was to ascertain the socio-psychological
perceptions of the LGBTQ Community regarding social criticisms based on their
experiences, to ascertain the impact on their mental and emotional health, and to
ascertain their overall perception regarding obtaining the rights they deserved.

II. OBJECTIVES
1. To determine their overall perception regarding obtaining the rights they
deserved in a socio-psychological way.
2. Determine the perceptions of the LGBTQ Community about social criticisms
based on their experiences.
3. Determine the effects of these criticisms on the LGBTQ Community.
