Step 1: Pin the middle of the wig on top of the head.
Step 2: First pin the strands to the head that are located at the back (strand 5-
18). Pin the first (5) and last (18) strand onto the head to determine the
place where the hairline begins and ends.
Pin the strands in such a way that they overlap lightly, but still cover the
complete back of the head.
Step 3: Pin the strands that are located at the front of the head (strands 1-4 and
19-22). First pin the two longer strands directly next to the last strands
marking the back of the head and then pin the strands forming the
bangs onto the head. In the example the bangs are pinned in tufts.
Step 4: Glue to secure the strands one by one, by removing the pin of the strand
and adding glue to that strand before pinning it back into place.
Glue every strand as described starting with the first hair at the back of
the head. When you are right-handed, glue the hair strands clockwise
and when you are left-handed, glue the strands counter clockwise.
Step 5: Leave to dry for at least 24 hours.
Step 6: When the glue is dry, remove the pins.
Step 7: Tie the headband into the hairdo after you’ve finished it, making sure the
shorter strands fall in front of it. Tie the hair into two pigtails. Use a
piece of Must-Have in #047 Old Pink.
Tip: To crochet the Bobbles you will be switching colors for the bobble only.
The tip is to crochet around the new color 5 stitches before you need to
change color until five stitches after switching back. This makes weaving
in all the ends easier.
